Adverse Side Effects.

Many people argue that vaccine shots can cause various adverse side-effects. The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) estimates that over 30,000 cases are reported annually; however, only 13% of these are considered serious side effects. Approximately 3900 cases.

Some mild reported side-effects:

  •     Headaches,
  •     Fevers,
  •     Fatigue,
  •     Sore throat,
  •     Vomiting.

Experiencing mild side-effects is common; Department of Health and Human Services Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimated from research that childhood vaccine for MMRV resulted in 1 out of 5 children getting a fever.

Unfortunately, some "side-effects" can be serious, while extremely rare risks do exist. There can be serious allergic reactions, while there are many reasons for allergic reactions most can be linked to lack of prior exposure. Vaccines contain ingredients that we may not necessarily be exposed to regularly; making this side effect slightly understandable.

Some other serious reactions:

  •     Pneumonia
  •     Long-term seizures
  •     Comas
  •     Permanent brain damage
  •     Deafness

It cannot be clearly proven reported problems were indeed caused by the vaccine or whether they simply happened by chance following the vaccine. The fact is, currently, there is no way to test, or verify what caused any illness.

Choosing not to immunise your child puts them at risk too, they could develop a serious, even life threatening disease which could otherwise have been prevented.

  1. Hi Christie, very nice topic and I think you cover everything that people needs to know and understand about bad side effect of vaccine. I have children of my own and one of my little boy he was healthy boy when he was born but when he got his vaccines for 3 weeks, 6 weeks and so on and ended up he suffer from severe eczema. I'm really disappointment because I thought these vaccines can protect a child from deseases but is absolutely not help at all, it just make people get more sick. I really enjoying reading your blog. Well done and keep it up..

  2. Wow, intense. Your blog has some really good info. I agree in the vaccines that prevent deadly diseases, but I believe in giving the immune system exercise. So I don't agree with flu injections unless you're old or sickly and it would be life threatening. Just letting you know my opinion there...

    1. Thank you! Unfortunately it's like super over the word limit so I'll have to edit it down. I agree with you about the Flu jab, it's pretty pointless for the people it's been marketed to in this year's campaign (which has been a lot bigger than most other years, I thought, may have something to do with being able to buy your own injections at the chemist now? Not sure) seems as they appear to be marketing it to middle-aged people, who are generally least at risk. Plus the flu is, like the common cold, constantly mutating, and each year it's a different anyway! I suppose though, if we can immunise ourselves against new and existing diseases, this stops them mutating constantly too, and becoming unmanageable.

Thanks again for your comment (:
